After sending the application soon after my wedding. I eventually got an appointment for an Employment Authorization document. It took them 2 months. Anyway my appointment time was 9:30am.
So as always made sure I was there in plenty of time. As I had an appointment letter I did not have to wait in the queue outside. Once inside was told to put my appointment letter in the basket and I would be called. The place was really busy. I waited forever and was starting to get agitated. Eventually I was called at 11:45! Anyway my name was called along with 5 other people and we all went into a room. I was expecting some kind of individual interview - not so. We were called up to a desk. Asked to show some ID. Then asked to put our finger on some ink then press down on a piece of paper that would later be the EAD. After another 5 minutes we were all given our cards and told that we should re apply before they expire if necessary. The Ead was the easiest interview in that we practically spoke to no one. The only thing that annoyed me was the amount of time which we had to wait.
